Forcepoint Advances Data Security Cloud to Close the Gap Between Visibility and Control in the AI Era

Today, we’re introducing ARIA, Forcepoint’s Adaptive Risk Intelligence Assistant, embedded directly into Forcepoint Data Security Cloud.

ARIA is an always-on AI expert purpose-built for modern data security. With deep knowledge of the Forcepoint platform and awareness of your organization’s data landscape, ARIA helps security teams translate business intent into enforceable protection using natural language in seconds — closing the gap between understanding risk and acting on it as policies and priorities evolve.

Operating across Forcepoint Data Security Cloud as a cross-channel intelligence layer, ARIA analyzes activity and policy coverage, identifies protection gaps and translates risk signals into recommended, deployable policies, all while keeping administrators in control and more confident in everyday security decisions. ARIA also integrates with incident response workflows, connecting to tools such as ServiceNow, Slack or Teams to streamline collaboration and accelerate response.

For example, when DSPM or DDR identifies sensitive data exposure or elevated risk without corresponding DLP coverage, ARIA translates that signal into a recommended DLP policy to deploy. It alerts administrators with clear rationale, enables immediate activation of governed enforcement and offers to generate a dedicated dashboard to monitor related activity and validate ongoing coverage — completing the loop from signal to protection. 

Built on the Data Security Everywhere approach, ARIA delivers continuous, cross-channel risk intelligence that bridges the gap between visibility and control. By doing so, it enables organizations to adapt protection in real time as data, users and AI-driven workflows evolve.

Visibility Where AI Actually Runs

Underpinning these innovations is our continued investment in deep data discovery and visibility. Delivered as part of Forcepoint Data Security Cloud, Cloud DSPM powered by AI Mesh continuously discovers and classifies both structured and unstructured data across cloud applications, collaboration platforms and modern cloud data lakehouses.

We also recently expanded structured data protection into analytics environments such as Databricks and Snowflake — environments where AI models and analytics workflows operate at scale.

To support global enterprises, Cloud DSPM on Data Security Cloud now includes regionalized data processing and storage in the EU to meet strict data-handling requirements, with continued expansion into APAC regions planned later this year.

By securing the data feeding AI systems and analytics platforms directly at the source, organizations gain clarity and control where AI actually runs, enabling them to operationalize AI-driven initiatives with confidence.

A Unified Agent for Modern Enforcement

We’ve also introduced a next-generation unified Data Security Everywhere Agent that supports both cloud and on-prem deployment, enabling organizations to modernize at their own pace while maintaining consistent, industry-leading data protection.

Web Intelligence, Reimagined for the AI Era

Traditional web controls rely on routing traffic through a proxy for inspection. It’s a model that worked back when users were inside the network and all traffic could be centralized.

Today’s risk is different. It is not just about which websites someone visits. It is about the data they bring with them and where that data goes, especially when interacting with generative AI tools, personal cloud storage and modern SaaS applications.

There is a limitation in legacy architectures. To determine whether data is safe to leave the endpoint, traffic is often redirected away from the device for inspection. That adds complexity and can create blind spots.

The DSE Agent brings Forcepoint Web Intelligence directly to the endpoint. Inspection happens locally, with data-aware adaptive policies enforced in real time. That means sensitive content can be identified and controlled before it ever leaves the device.
